Hearing US and Canadian stations in Europe varies from being very easy (sometimes audible on a car radio or portable set) to extremely difficult. Based on loggings submitted by UK DXers, and informed a little by my own personal experience, the US states and Canadian provinces are grouped below into four categories. The easiest are listed first, moving through to those that are very hard to hear. In each area the most frequently reported stations have been listed with the commonest underlined.
USA Group 1 – easy to hear
